The Color Page
A node-based grading environment in the tradition of DaVinci Resolve: a graded preview, a node graph you build visually, and parameter controls. A grade is a left-to-right chain of color nodes.
Available Node Types
- Lift / Gamma / Gain — classic three-way correction.
- ASC CDL — industry-standard primary grading (Slope, Offset, Power, Saturation).
- Color Wheels, Curves, HSL Qualifier, Power Window, Temp/Tint, LUT, Color Space Transform, Film Grain, Glow/Halation, and Custom Transform (write your own per-pixel formula).
Every parameter on every node can be keyframed, so grades can shift over time.
ASC CDL Support
Lunar Studio reads and writes .cc, .ccc, .cdl, and its own clean .json format. Import is forgiving; export is strict and spec-compliant, so grades round-trip correctly with other tools.
LUT Library
Ships with LUTs from Arri, RED, Sony, Canon, DJI, Panasonic, Blackmagic Design, Olympus, Samsung, and Astrodesign, plus ACES, DCI, and HDR (HLG/PQ) standard transforms, film emulation looks, and VFX interchange LUTs. Import your own in .cube, .dat, or .spi1d formats.
Scopes
Waveform, RGB Parade, Vectorscope, and Histogram, sampled in SDR Display, Working Linear (for HDR highlights), or Log/ACEScct mode.
Color Management
Lunar Studio grades in a linear, wide-gamut working space and encodes to your chosen delivery space (Rec.709, Display P3, HDR HLG/PQ, or ACEScct) only at the very end — the same pipeline used by professional color tools.
