Exporting Your Project
Open Export from File → Export (⌘E) or ask the AI assistant to "export." Pick a preset, adjust settings, choose a destination, and hit Export — your timeline stays fully editable while it renders in the background.

Proxies — Smooth Editing, Full-Quality Export
Lunar Studio automatically generates lightweight proxies in the background so playback stays smooth. Export always resolves back to your full-quality original media.
Loudness Normalization
Choose a loudness target and Lunar Studio normalizes your final mix to hit it, using peak-safe measurement that never exceeds the true-peak safety ceiling.
Pre-Flight Checks
Before rendering, Lunar Studio checks that your destination has enough free space and confirms your codec/resolution/container combination is valid.
Media Offline & Relinking
If a source file moves or is deleted, Lunar Studio detects it automatically and shows a clear offline placeholder. Use File → Relink Media to point at the new location — it matches by content fingerprint first, then file name.
