Editing Together in Real Time
Turn on sharing and invite collaborators to edit the same timeline at the same time. Every edit is sent to everyone immediately, and you'll see live cursors showing each collaborator's playhead and selection, each in their own color.
Presence, Comments & Roles
- Presence — cursors fade when idle and disappear cleanly on disconnect.
- Comments — leave a note pinned to a frame or clip; mark it resolved once addressed.
- Roles — Owner, Editor, Commenter, and Viewer control who can edit, comment, or only watch.
How Changes Stay in Sync
Every clip is tracked independently with an always-increasing timestamp. If two people edit the same clip at the same moment, the most recent change wins and everyone converges on the identical result — no merge dialogs. Editing different clips at the same time never conflicts.
Works Offline, Too
If your connection drops, edits keep working locally and sync automatically once you reconnect.
Shared Media
If a collaborator adds media you don't have yet, Lunar Studio downloads it automatically in the background, with a "Downloading…" badge until it's ready.
Where to Find It
Look for the Share button in the top bar, the presence bar below the timeline, the comments sidebar, and the cursor overlay on the timeline.
